Rosebay Willowherb

Rosebay Willowherb also known as Fireweed, Willow-Tea and Ivan Chai is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the willowherb family Onagraceae. This herb has long been famous for its miraculous power. In ancient Russia, this Willowherb was used for the treatment of various ailments, as well as for the preparation of the traditional Russian drink, Koporye tea.
Willowherb is used as a traditional medicine to treat various diseases. It is also used in cooking, added to salads, soups and side dishes.
