Braksun is popularly known as the Tears of the Mountains, Geomalin, Stone Oil or White Shilajit. It is a mineral alum that forms on the walls of caves, grottoes and rock crevices. The main regions are the Eastern and Western Sayan mountains and the mountainous regions of China, Mongolia, and Eastern Siberia. Unrefined, it is solid, white, cream, yellow or green, and forms in the shape of plates, pebbles and powder. The colour depends on the composition of the rock from which the Brakshun was harvested. This natural product is widely used in traditional medicine in China, Burma and Tibet. It is recommended if you need to get rid of inflammation, bleeding, fractures, burns, and digestive disorders. In these regions, it is known as the longevity remedy and well-recognised for its health benefits.
Biochemical composition
The stone oil contains about 50 macro- and microelements necessary for the human body (including sodium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, silicon, chromium, selenium, iodine, cobalt, nickel ). The mineral composition of rock oil largely depends on the age of the substance and on the geological characteristics of its deposit.
The role of only a few micro- and macroelements in the human body is described below, but even this small list allows us to understand their importance for us.
